Too often do we understand the estimate power of a touch, a smile kind word, a listening ear, an honest, compliment or the smallest act of caring, all of which have a potential to turn a life round. I expect to pass through the world but once. Any good therefore I can do, or and kindness I can show to any creatures, let me do it now. Let me not defer it for I can I shall not pass this way again. If nobody smiled and nobody cheered and nobody helped along, if every man looked after himself and good things all went to the strong, if nobody cared just a little for you, and nobody thought about me, and we all stood alone in the battle of life, What a dreary old world this would be!’
